Inception Cake II: Once More, With Efficiency

Back in 2011, I baked an Inception-inspired cake to celebrate Oscar night. This year, for Craft Week over at

inceptiversary, I decided to bake that cake again, making use of the lessons I learned the first time around.

Inception Cake Recipe

Oscar night is tomorrow! Oscar night is tomorrow!

I'm so excited to watch the Oscars this year that I've been planning for a while to make a special Inception-themed cake to eat during the ceremony. This post contains my recipe for the cake. When I try this idea tomorrow, I will post photos.

Happy Birthday, Rorschach!

Today, I celebrated the birthday of Rorschach, one of the main characters from my newest object of geeky obsession, Watchmen. We know from the documents at the end of Chapter VI of the graphic novel that he was born on March 21, 1940. I decided to celebrate by baking a cake and having my "Rorschach Special" for dinner.
