I had planned to actually try and participate in 24 Hour Comic Day. But... say it with me... Something Came Up. Actually, two things came up. First of all, I found out on Wednesday that SAL, one of the two honors societies I'm in, was doing a volunteer project this afternoon. I agreed to go, because I am the secretary, and I want to support the club in every way I can. We spent the whole afternoon at one of our city's green (environmentally friendly) houses, acting as volunteer docents for a tour that was going on today. Afterwards, we went out to dinner. When I got back from that, I didn't feel like drawing, so I didn't. Then I spent the entire evening on the other thing that came up: my school's chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship was having a photo scavenger hunt. I'm really glad I took part in that. I had an awesomely fun time, and my team came in second place (out of four).
I had a good time today, but the only time I found to draw was about half an hour in the morning, between studying and lunch (before I left for the volunteer project). I drew exactly two panels of Digital Marchers #11. It's only two panels, but it's a start, and knowing that I've started on it makes finishing it seem within reach.
