d_princesses community here on LJ, I came across this announcement of an upcoming audio drama project featuring Merida and Rapunzel. I absolutely love both of their movies and their characters, and I love voice acting, so I auditioned for a part in the audio drama. I am very honored and proud to say that I was chosen to play the role of Mother Nature.
The audio drama is called "Four." A longer and more unwieldy, but more descriptive title, would be "Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons: The Audio Drama." It's going to be an adventure featuring the characters from Rise of the Guardians, Brave, Tangled, and How to Train Your Dragon, plus some original characters. The premise is that an unprecedented number of natural disasters are afflicting the world, and when Mother Nature realizes that there is a sinister someone behind it all, she's angry. She recruits four heroes (Jack Frost, Merida, Rapunzel, and Hiccup, of course!) to be her champions and fight back against the forces of chaos.
I created my own Tumblr blog to track my participation in the project. I plan on using it to post updates on how the project is progressing, and possibly stories of what it's like to be a voice actor in one of these projects (which I will also crosspost to this blog). You can follow Four Audio Drama on Tumblr for all the latest updates on the project. The promo video featuring my voice should be up fairly soon! The art that's already up is lovely, and I can't wait for more! :)
