NaArMaMo - Second Half

NaArMaMo is over for another year. This year, I used MSPaint as a medium more than last year, for two reasons. capriuni was using it exclusively and doing wonderful things with it, so her work was an inspiration to me, and it saved me the trouble of using the scanner.

My Carefree Artist series of pictures was a lot of fun to draw, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. I feel a little guilty that I didn't finish more hand-drawn pieces (meaning I didn't cross any of my art ideas off my One Dead Bunny list), but I have more than 31 pieces of art, and I like all of them.

Of the 17 pieces of art I posted between August 16-31:

8 are drawings done in MSPaint
- 6 of those are part of the Carefree Artist series
4 are photographs
1 is a drawing drawn and colored by hand
1 is a drawing drawn by hand and colored by computer
1 is a tote bag I sewed and painted on
2 are icons

Of the 35 pieces of art I posted during National Art Making Month 2007:
16 are drawings done in MSPaint
- 11 of those are part of the Carefree Artist series
10 are photographs
4 are drawings drawn by hand
- 3 of those are colored by hand, and one isn't colored
1 is a drawing drawn by hand and colored by computer
2 are tote bags I sewed
- 1 of those also has a drawing on it in paint
2 are icons

I call that a productive month, and I look forward to doing it again next year.
